Adult Ministries

Lake Ridge offers many opportunities for Bible study and fellowship for adults of all ages.

Adult Sunday School

Young Adults

The Young Adult Ministry (YAM Fam) exists to get you through your college years and early 20's. This can be the hardest time of life, but it can also be the most rewarding and life-changing. We're a vibrant community that takes seriously the call of Christ on our life to be transformed by the Spirit, serve the church, and reach out to those who don't know Jesus.

Want to get connected with our YAM Fam? Complete and submit this form, and we'll get in touch with you. We can't wait to get to know you and hear your story!

Women's Ministry

The Lake Ridge Women's Ministry understands the unique design, gifting, and needs of women, and we desire to be a resource as they grow in their faith and serve in their families. We seek to provide every woman in the body with the opportunity to connect with other women, grow spiritually, and have opportunities to serve - all for the glory of God.

Our special events offer the opportunity to connect in both fun and meaningful ways throughout the year. These events are designed to offer fellowship and encouragement as we seek to balance all of the elements of our busy lives.

Women's Bible Studies

Our goal is to help women grow spiritually and build deep and lasting relationships. Bible studies are selected so that there is a variety in the type and intensity of study, and different days and times are made available so that at least one of them might be worked into each individual’s schedule. We pray that one of these studies will tug at your heart and add great joy to your life!

Due to COVID, we do not currently have a Wednesday night Bible study for women. Instead, our adults are combined in the sanctuary for Digging In!, a time of Q&A over our current sermon series (That Thing You Do!) on the Sermon on the Mount.

Our Connections group meets on Wednesday mornings from 9:30-11:30 in the Family Room. Childcare is available upon request. Current Study: God of Covenant by Jen Wilkin; contact Ann Baughman.

Our Precepts group meets on Thursday mornings from 9:30-11:30 in B111. Current Study: Philippians by Kay Arthur; contact Becca Lowery.

Men's Ministry

The Men's Ministry at Lake Ridge is geared toward the instruction we find in Titus 2:1-2, 6-8. Our younger and older men meet together to learn, encourage, and benefit from each other's walk with Christ.

Men's Bible Studies

During the spring and fall semesters, our men gather on Wednesday nights for Bible studies. Check in January for details about the Spring 2021 study.

3 Strands Fellowship

Our new men's group, 3 Strands Fellowship, was formed to help our men -- from young adults to senior adults -- focus on sharpening their relationships with one another to become stronger husbands, fathers, and leaders, both in the home and at church.

3 Strands Fellowship will be having another Men's Breakfast on Saturday, December 12, from 8:30-10:00, at Sunnyvale Park Square. Bring your chair and join us fellowship and a time of discussion. We'll provide breakfast burritos, bread pudding, and HOPE coffee. Sign up online by Wednesday, December 9.
