Adult Ministries

Lake Ridge offers many opportunities for Bible study and fellowship for adults of all ages.

Adult Sunday School

Young Adults

The Young Adult Ministry (YAM Fam) exists to get you through your college years and early 20's. This can be the hardest time of life, but it can also be the most rewarding and life-changing. We're a vibrant community that takes seriously the call of Christ on our life to be transformed by the Spirit, serve the church, and reach out to those who don't know Jesus.

Want to get connected with our YAM Fam? Complete and submit this form, and we'll get in touch with you. We can't wait to get to know you and hear your story!

Women's Ministry

The Lake Ridge Women's Ministry understands the unique design, gifting, and needs of women, and we desire to be a resource as they grow in their faith and serve in their families. We seek to provide every woman in the body with the opportunity to connect with other women, grow spiritually, and have opportunities to serve - all for the glory of God.

Our special events offer the opportunity to connect in both fun and meaningful ways throughout the year. These events are designed to offer fellowship and encouragement as we seek to balance all of the elements of our busy lives.

Women's Bible Studies

Our goal is to help women grow spiritually and build deep and lasting relationships. Bible studies are selected so that there is a variety in the type and intensity of study, and different days and times  -- during both spring and fall semesters -- are made available so that at least one of them might be worked into each individual’s schedule. We pray that one of these studies will tug at your heart and add great joy to your life!

The Women's Wednesday Night Bible Study will be doing a 7-week study on Miracles of Jesus (through RightNow Media) February 10 - April 7 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. (room TBD). Cost of the book for the study is $11, payable in person or online through the signup form. Childcare is available upon request. Sign up online now! Contact: Kristin Wilkerson

Our Connections group meets on Wednesday mornings from 9:30-11:30 a.m. in the Family Room. They will be studying 1 Peter: A Living Hope in Christ by Jen Wilkin, February 3 - April 7. Childcare is available upon request. Sign up online now! Contact: Ann Baughman

Our Precepts group meets on Thursday mornings from 9:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. in B111. The Spring 2021 study on 1, 2, & 3 John and Jude will be January 14 - April 15, with a one-week break in March. Cost : $27. Contact: Becca Lowery

During the spring and fall semesters, our men gather on Wednesday nights from 7:00-8:30 p.m. for Bible studies.

This spring we will begin a 2-part series on The Delight of Discipleship, led by Henry Rogers. Part two will be in the fall. Childcare is available upon request. Sign up online now! Contact: Henry Rogers

3 Strands Fellowship

Our new men's group, 3 Strands Fellowship, was formed to help our men -- from young adults to senior adults -- focus on sharpening their relationships with one another to become stronger husbands, fathers, and leaders, both in the home and at church.

We will meet on Saturday, January 23, from 9:00-10:30 a.m. at Kearney's Feed Yard for breakfast, fellowship, and continued discussion over our devotional booklet, Is It Real?, about genuine faith.  Bring $5 for breakfast. Sign up online. Deadline is Wednesday, January 20. Contact: Van Minter
